TL;DR

If you're not happy with CompoundVision Pro within 14 days of your first purchase, contact us and we'll issue a full refund. No questions asked. This applies worldwide. EU/EEA/UK consumers also have a statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU.

1. 14-day satisfaction guarantee (worldwide)

If within 14 days of your first purchase of a CompoundVision Pro subscription (monthly or annual) you are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund. No justification is required.

The 14-day period starts on the day the payment is processed.

2. EU/EEA/UK right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you have a statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive) and the corresponding national transpositions. You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day after payment, without giving any reason and without any penalty.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, use any unambiguous statement (feedback form in the footer, or email) informing us of your decision to withdraw from the contract. You can use the model withdrawal form but are not obligated to.

2.1 Digital content exception (your explicit consent)

CompoundVision Pro is delivered as digital content (online service with encrypted sync). Under Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal for digital content ceases once performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose the right of withdrawal.

However, we voluntarily waive this exception. We honor the full 14-day withdrawal right even if you have already used the service during that period.

3. Refunds after 14 days

After the 14-day window, subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, we consider refunds on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:

  • Service outage: if Pro features were unavailable for a significant portion of your billing period due to an outage on our side, we may issue a pro-rata refund or credit.
  • Service discontinuation: if we discontinue the Pro tier entirely, we will refund the unused portion of any active annual subscriptions on a pro-rata basis.
  • Double charge / billing error: always fully refundable, no deadline.
  • Unauthorized charge: if someone charged you without authorization, contact us immediately. We will investigate and refund if the charge is confirmed unauthorized.

4. Annual plan refunds

If you cancel an annual subscription after the 14-day window, the subscription will not auto-renew, but we do not offer pro-rata refunds for the remaining months of the current billing period. You will retain Pro access until the end of the current period.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, send us one message containing:

  • The email address used for the purchase (if you provided one), OR the Stripe receipt / order ID from your purchase confirmation email.
  • A brief note stating "I want a refund" (no reason required within the 14-day window).

Response time: we aim to acknowledge refund requests within 48 hours and process them within 5 business days via the Stripe dashboard.

Refund method: refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank, the refund may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account after we process it.

6. What happens to your data after a refund

Upon issuing a refund:

  • Your license key is deactivated and Pro access ends immediately.
  • Your encrypted portfolio blob is retained for 90 days (in case you re-subscribe) and then permanently deleted.
  • You can request immediate deletion of your encrypted blob as part of your refund request — just mention "and delete my data" in your message.
  • Minimal records (Stripe customer ID, refund timestamp) are retained for up to 7 years as required by Spanish tax and accounting law.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer instead of requesting a refund, your license key is automatically deactivated upon receipt of the dispute notification from Stripe, and we will respond to the dispute directly via Stripe. Please contact us first — it's usually faster and simpler.

Chargebacks on disputed charges that later turn out to be legitimate may result in permanent suspension of any future purchases from the same payment method.

9. Your statutory rights

This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. If local law provides stronger protection than this policy, local law prevails.
