Performance Attribution
For each stock, fund, crypto, and staking position: percent return, dollar P&L, and share of your portfolio's total movement. Winners and losers table side-by-side. Positions bought after the period start use their purchase date as the effective start, so recent buys don't get credit for the full period's move.
About attribution
Attribution uses shares × (end price − start price), so it ignores contribution changes from buy/sell inside the period — a pure 'hold' analysis. Cash, real estate, vehicles, pensions, DeFi and debt are not attributed (no single price series). The share % normalizes against the sum of absolute contributions, not net, so a +$5k winner and a −$5k loser each show as 50% instead of canceling to zero.
- Per-position dollar P&L + % return over period
- Winners vs losers tables side-by-side
- Purchase-date aware effective start
- Share normalized against absolute contributions
- Seven period presets from 1M to all-time
- Computed client-side from FMP history
